The car is available in two types of transmissions. X6 is a mid-size luxury crossover manufactured by the auto maker BMW. The company first showcased the concept model of X6 at Frankfurt Auto Show in 2007. The car was officially launched at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in 2008.
